Widow: Iran Scientist Wanted Israel's Annihilation

The widow of an assassinated Iranian nuclear scientist Mostafa Ahmadi Roshan says her husband was seeking the annihilation of Israel.

Fatemeh Bolouri Kashani, Roshan's wife, told Iran's FARS News Agency her husband's goal was to destroy the Zionist regime and support the rights of Palestinians.

Some analysts say the news points to the true purpose of Iran's nuclear program.

Still, Iranian officials claim the country's nuclear program isn't for military purposes.
